My name is Naret and I am from Thailand. I started my studies in a regular school until my middle school years, where I had my opportunity to go to an "international school", comparable to a private school in the US. The international school afforded me the chance to interact with students from diverse nations and also provided an avenue to learn English. The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated the adoption of online learning in Thailand, but I found it unsatisfactory and opted for an online US-based school. It was a brief experience that introduced me to the American school curriculum, leading me to enroll at Animas High School in the US. So far, I had been studying at Animas.
Growing up in a developing country like Thailand, specifically Phuket, has significantly impacted my personality and interests. Growing up in a Thai - Chinese Hokkien family, and in addition to being located at the crossroads of the new Belt and Road Initiative, with a high Chinese influence, has resulted in a rapid pace of development and progress in the country. As a result, I have been exposed to various infrastructural projects, including the construction of buildings, high-speed trains, and highways. These surroundings have sparked my interest in engineering, which I further pursue by engaging in indoor activities like researching basic math, physics, businesses, and geopolitics.
Overall, my unwavering passion, perseverance, and dedication towards achieving my goals have been the driving forces behind my determination to succeed in any field I pursue. I understand that the road to success is not always smooth and that obstacles may arise, but I remain committed to overcoming them through hard work, discipline and continuous learning. With focus, persistence, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, I firmly believe that I can achieve great success in any field I choose to pursue. Ultimately, my determination to succeed is rooted in the belief that I can make a positive impact on the world and leave a lasting legacy through my accomplishments.
